SEMI FINAL ROUND
A 10-minute maximum performance consisting of:
One technical work with a difficulty equivalent to Czerny Op. 740
One slow lyrical piece of solo piano repertoire (with compulsory approval by the IIPC committee)
Works from the Semi Final Round cannot be repeated for the Final Round.
FINAL ROUND
A 20-minute maximum performance consisting of:
One of the following work lists:
o Prelude & Fugue (3 voices) from Well-Temperd Clavier by J. S. Bach
o Allemande & Gigue from French Suite, English Suite, or Partita by J. S. Bach
One first or last movement of a piano sonata by:
o F. J. Haydn (any sonata)
o W. A. Mozart (any sonata)
o L. v. Beethoven (piano sonata no. 1-12)
Free choice(s) of repertoire for the rest of the program
Works performed in the Semi Final and Final Round must not include transcriptions, simplifications, self-made arrangements, or original compositions.
